The code for the Boise/Gowen Field airport is BOI. The airport is only 3 miles away from the hotel and the Boise State campus. BOI is served by several major airlines.
Hotel * updates below
Our SOLD OUT hotel is the Residence Inn Boise Central/Capitol Boulevard. Standard rooms (1 bed, 1 couch, kitchen area) are $85 ($96 with taxes). Expanded rooms (2 beds in separate areas, kitchen area) are $120 plus taxes.
The hotel provides free breakfast daily and heavy hors d’ouerves on late Thursday afternoon (before the keynote). Elmer’s diner and Papa Joe’s Italian restaurant are next to the hotel as well. Pizza Hut, Thai Nalyn, and Quizno’s are about a block away. Many more restaurants await you in Downtown Boise, a mile or so to the north (it’s walkable) for Saturday.
I hear that the Residence Inn has filled up for our conference dates. Here are some alternatives.
The Towne Place Suites is across the parking lot from the Residence Inn. Breakfast is included. The rates are comparable to those at Residence Inn. This is the most convenient option aside from the Residence Inn.

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown is north and east of BSU; you could catch a shuttle van and get to campus or walk it. Many fans park there and walk for football games.
Breakfast is not included, but Carl’s Jr. and Perkins are available in addition to the hotel’s small diner.
Courtyard will honor the Res. Inn’s rates of $85 per night (plus tax).

(not the Hampton Inn down by the airport)
The Grove Hotel is a block or two north of Hampton Inn Downtown. It’s the fanciest place of these.

Ground Transportation
An airport shuttle is provided by our hotel, the Residence Inn. Call the Residence Inn at for 208-344-1200 for service. The other hotels likely offer shuttles; ask at the front desk.
If you can’t wait or don’t want to, catch a taxi from the queue. It’s a short trip to the hotel.
You are welcome to rent a car from the vendors at the airport, but you are unlikely to need it unless you venture out of Boise.
